“Design for Change Australia”

Dear Friends

Would you like to be a part of an incredible global movement called “Design for Change”. This project was created by Kiran Bir Sethi and the Riverside School in India and now David Dixon and Chantelle Baxter are planning the “Design for Change Australia” project – (you can read all about them on the “Design for Change” link below).

In this project children experience positively changing their world. Children are given a simple task: design a solution to a problem in their community and make it happen. Children aged 8 to 14, work in teams of five with an adult mentor, identify a local problem, brainstorm solutions, come up with an action plan and then implement the plan – creating positive change themselves in their own communities.

Would you like to be sent a Design for Change ToolKit as soon it is ready to be launched in Australia? I am assisting David and Chantelle generate a list of people who want to be a part of “Design for Change Australia”.

Please email me your contact details and if you have any additional ways you would like to contribute please email me a message. Please forward on to teachers, parents, educational representatives, students, mentors, potential contributors and potential sponsors.

Love Deb
